What a great day for the event organised by Harpenden village Rotry Club. Harpenden classics on the common 2015 has grown into Britain’s biggest midweek classic car meeting. Once again there was a great turnout. The weather payed its part as as crowds enjoyed an afternoon of bright sunshine on the common. People arrived in their thousands on to Harpenden Common to view the spectacular array of some 1200 classic cars, scooters and motorbikes at the 22nd annual Classics on the Common

There was a number of very interesting vehicles including a Stanley Steamer from 1914/16, overall  everyone had such a good time and a great deal of money was raised for charity. This made the day even more of a success . All the hard work put in by the volunteers paid of  making it an event to remember

Last year’s show, raised £30,000 for charities including Keech Hospice Care and Herts Action on Disability. While the show is free to visitors donations are appreciated. Money raised this year will be split between local charities Community Meeting Point Harpenden, Youth Talk, national charities Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan .and the International Guildford Rotary Eye Project
